Guest guest Posted February 5, 2001 Report Share Posted February 5, 2001 My doctor just told me that a baby is protected by its mother's immunities until around 8 months of age. Since I am immune to polio then my baby does not need the polio vaccine until that time. Great - now I have a valid reason to wait with that vaccination!
