Thanks so much for that article. As some of you already know, I nursed my first until he was four and my second until his 6th birthday. It was wonderful. I made a point of nursing them in public until they were three.

And that was quite a while back since my second was six in 1992. Those are the sweetest times.

A great article!! I'm sending it to my mom, who thinks breastfeeding is wonderful for babies, but "strange and unacceptable" for toddlers (past 2 1/2 - 3) ...Sharon
