Hi Peary, must be a filler that is causing problems- with me it just doesn't feel so strong- I had the same problems with Naturethroid, but the new Armour that upset some folk I was fine on. One brand is just not equal to another for some folk- especialy those with intolerances to fillers- which we don't know about until a med doesn't work properly- then we get to try something else that does and realise there is a problem. Re: ..I'm pleased you are managing to persevere with the Mexixan Cynomel.I doubt I will be able to increase my dose in the meantime though. There is something about them that is violently disagreeing with me.

Regards Peary

Hi Dee, Seems to be all in how you tolerate the fillers- how I react to meds may not be the same as you. > Subject: Re: Mexican Cynomel...disaster!> > > > > I initially found the Goldshield liothyronine was considerably weaker than Mexican Cynomel. It was like it wasn't doing anything at all and I went hypo again. Then I started taking it sublingually and it seems to work better for me that way. I'm still not sure it's quite as strong though.> > > > > >> > can someone please tell me how strong the levothyronine is i get prescribed from > > gp compared with the tabs you buy abroad?> > Thankyou> > Dee> > > > > > > ------------------------------------> > TPA is not medically qualified.
