Guest guest
Not general bruises, although I suppose that might come under the same query. About 2 months ago I bruised the bone (I think) on my thumb (whacked it with a chainsaw blade when I was putting the chainsaw down). It's been aching on and off since, moreso thelast few days. Anyone else noticed anything like this?
Guest guest
This sounds terribly painful. Did you break the skin? Here's an article on bruising and vitamin deficiency. Did you tear a ligament or muscle under the skin? Did it possible heal wrong? http://www.health911.com/bruises I am a believer in wild oil of oregano for everything, because it cures everything and it's a natural antibiotic. If the skin isn't broken, I like arnica gel...That works wonders. Guest guest
Hi, Yes I have had these kinds of diy accidents, and they take months and months to heal... Nothing to do with thyroid as far as I can tell, just seems to be what happens if you bash the bone...... My husband bashed his thumb last year and it took at least 5 months before it was 100%. . > About 2 months ago I bruised the bone (I think) on my thumb (whacked it with a chainsaw blade when I was putting the chainsaw down). >
Guest guest
The skin was scraped but not really broken, no major damage done beyond the bruising, was a hard whack though and right on the tip of one of the points on the chain. Ouch! Sounds fairly normal then, good... Shall have a look at the arnica if it keeps aching. Thanks for the link
