Yes Lilian that should work - I dont feel like offering to do more as Ive done sheila's, Dr Peatfield's, Dr Skinner's and Dr Theodoras and it is very time consuming. As someone has already done them wouldnt it be easy just to do as Lilian says and copy and paste from windows into an email - to sheila (or to me as I will format it if needs be), then the problem of windows 7 will have gone!!Gill

I know it should work but she says she has tried everything,

even her partner cannot work this one out. Anyway, now I can't get her on the

phone and she isn't responding to my emails. Not sure whether she has

gone away or not but I am left feeling quite desperate at this point in time,

especially as I sent a Special Notice out to all our 1953 members asking if

anybody can jump in and help, but not had a single response as yet.

That sounds an excellent idea Lilian. I have written asking if

she will do this and then I can reformat them before sending them to to

put on to the web site so I can include the link in the Newsletter. I think she

is out at the moment as I have tried again to telephone her but no response. I

just hope she has not gone away for Christmas.

If you can get hold of her and she doesn't mind a phone call from me I

and hope she takes up your offer. I know she is very frustrated with it. Would

solving the problem of being able to send attachments also solve the problem of

her not being able to use her Skype too?

Microsoft added something to Word 2007 which stops older versions reading new .docx formats, but then blessed the world with a cure! Oh - yes please Freesia. Donja took on the typing of the

Question and Answer session but she works full time and has a long motorway

commute so she would be very grateful for any help you can give her. She has

already done 4 of the Q and A's. However, there are 19 questions or comments -

so could you type out from No 9 to the end and Donja will type the rest? I will
