Guest guest Posted November 29, 2001 Report Share Posted November 29, 2001 Dear All, This to inform you about the programme for the launch on World Aids Day for the campaign at Bangalore organised by the Freedom Foundation. NAPS(Network of Aids Prevention Society in Karnataka) consisting of all the partner NGO's funded by the State Government will actively participate. A march by 350 to 400 positive people, Heads and employees of the Corporate Sector, Collage students, NSS volunteers will gather at the Vidhan Soudha. Mr. Malaka Reddy the Health Minister will preside and flag the march. The Police Commissioner Mr. Saglina will speak on the issue. 30 to 40 hordings will have messages on the campaign and the theme of World Aids Day will be put up at various parts of the city. The marchers will be displaying placards and banners with slogans. A talk show on Radio City has been organised for the positive children of Thee Freedom Foundation. Mr. Ashok Rau will also be talking on the programme. V Channel will be conducting a programme with the positive people of the Foundation. We are also requesting MTV to do a programme. There will be a series of Quiz and debate programmes in 40 schools in the City and districts in the states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh All India Radio will be broadcasting a programme on the 1st involving the positive people of the Foundation. Star TV, Udaya TV, and Doordarshan will all be covering the activities of the Freedom Foundation and the Campaign. Similar programmes will also be held at all the other Units of the Freedom Foundation.
