Meniere's Disease and Hypothyroidism

I have just been given a diagnosis of possible Meniere's Disease after recurring

dizziness, nausea and tinnitus episodes. I've looked through past postings here

and it seems that I'm not the only one with both hypothyroidism and this

condition. I've also read that there may be links between the two conditions.

I had previously been told (in December 2010) I had labyrinthitis and prescribed

Prochlorperazine, I have now been prescribed Betahistine Dihydrochloride. I have

had dizzy spells prior to December but never had a diagnosis.

I've posted this for information and also to see what other people's experiences

are.
