No thyroxine for two days and no hair loss

Hi

Can anyone explain this, two days after no thyroxine my hair has stopped falling

out. This has happened twice now, and falls out on going back on thyroxine.

I also look back to before I was ever placed on thyroxine and my hair fell out

badly, so can anyone explain this.

My GP has condescended to prescribe anything I wish to try. I have decided to

try the non allergic thyroxine from dales, but will have to wait a

fortnight I would think.

Can anyone advise how would be best to start on it. I have suggested to the GP

that he prescribes 100x25mcg until I know what dosage is best, and that there is

improvement.

Due to not being able to eat meat and fish, I decided against the natural

thyroid due to being made from porcine (animal origin).

Chelsea and Westminster have also bought my appointment forward to JAN 26th, as

they felt I should be seen before March.
