Guest guest
Hi there, I have just spent the last two days in bed feeling pretty rough with a cold virus, not really snotty, more sore throat/hot and cold and feeling very tired. Today I am up as I can't stay in bed long! I have noticed on and off that I get this sore irritating pain just above and behind my left knee which can radiate upwards a little - when I am mainly lying down in bed and it sometimes is relieved by stretching my leg full out. It has been worse this last couple of days and now I feel a bit pins and needley on that leg and buttock. First I have been dosing up on the Vit C - 2-3000 to help shift the virus - that wouldn't have an effect would it? OR is it that my B12 has slipped low again? Any ideas? Many thanks Stacey

Guest guest
Hi Aha - I wonder if it is - I did have a lower back problem which about 15 yrs ago caused sciatic nerve pain down the right hand side - perfectly feasable that is what it is. Good thinking Sheila - dohh. Actually I feel incredibly pooey since the virus - very tearful and to be honest was not even bothered either way about celebrating New Year. I have glimmers of hopefulness about getting better and losing weight etc - my partner says I am being too hard on myself and I am bound to feel a bit unwell still. I also wonder whether I need to consider asking for my T4 to be upped to 100 been on 75 since end of October. And I still await the T3. I have also noticed that my face is puffier again and I am a bit breathy on minimal exertion. I am sorry to be on a bit of a downer chaps, I know this will pass, it had been a funny old year. Thanks Stacey > > Could this be Sciatica Stacey? >
