Guest guest
Hi Ian Did you see this warning on the website listing: " THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED AS A RESEARCH CHEMICAL ONLY. CAN BE HARMFUL IF INGESTED. " ???????? I think I'd rather stick to splitting my pills?! Guest guest
Hi Leisha That's standard text for " Research Chem " companies. It gets them round the law. The Indian, thai, Mexican companies maybe don't have the same laws to abide by. At the end of the day, it's up to the individual who to trust between a 3rd world manufacturer or a US based lab. > > > > Hi Ian > > Did you see this warning on the website listing: > > " THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED AS A RESEARCH CHEMICAL ONLY. Guest guest
This intrigues me! How would you use it? What is its shelf life? ta
Guest guest
You would use a Dropper or a needleless syringe. you know there's 100mcg of T3 per Ml of liquid so if you want 12.5mcg, you would measure 0.125ml of liquid Shelflive, no idea. I'm sure they'd tell you though, as long as you ask just that & don't tell them what you plan to do with it. > > This intrigues me! How would you use it? Guest guest
Well, for starters it has a very bold warning that THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED AS A RESEARCH CHEMICAL ONLY. CAN BE HARMFUL IF INGESTED, and second, it is for 100mcgs. If you need 20mcgs or 25mcgs, I think that would be very difficult. Also, it doesn't tell you what else is added to this liquid T3 - or if it is pure T3. Sheila This intrigues me! How would you use it? What is its shelf life? ta
Guest guest
Hi Sheila Now I am surprised. I would have thought a lady of your experience would know how " Research " labs work. RE the Warning : This lab is in California, USA. NOT Mumbai or Tijuana. They're not allowed to sell you prescription drugs. This is how they get round the law. It's the same way companies sell " Legal Highs " or will sell you Hydroponic Grow lamps to grow " Tomatos " or Cannabis seeds that you're not allowed to germinate. It's very common, I don't know how you've missed it. Re Measuring : I can assure you, measuring liquid is far more accurate than splitting pills. I'm a bit sorry I posted this info now. I was only trying to help. > > Well, for starters it has a very bold warning that THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED > AS A RESEARCH CHEMICAL ONLY. CAN BE HARMFUL IF INGESTED, and second, it is > for 100mcgs. Guest guest
I use a needleless syringe for my daughter for her liquid Hydrocortisone and Liquid T4. It quite easy to work out. Thanks for posting Ian, it could be just what I need for my daughter. I am going to email to ask for content and shelf life. Guest guest
Ian - I for one am very pleased you posted it - one of the things that has concerned me for a while is finding a way to buy a store of thyroid meds just in case in the future we arent able to import. The problem with Armour etc is the shelf life which is pretty short (couple uf years I think). I remember discussions about freezing NT, but I dont think it had been tested for potency after long term freezing? It will be interesting to find out if the liquid T3 had a longer shelf life! So thanks again! > > Hi Sheila > > Now I am surprised. I would have thought a lady of your experience would know how " Research " labs work. Guest guest
Thanks Alyson & Judy Hehe, my response made me look like I was being a bit precious. That's not the case. I'm as thick skinned as I am thick ; - ) It's a pity some dive in before doing a bit of research though (Google is a great tool), because some poor bugger might see a negative comment & be put off. Hopefully, you will never have to freeze your meds. These " Research " labs are always one step ahead of the law & hopefully always will be. The law isn't there to look after you & me, it's there to look after $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ > > Ian - I for one am very pleased you posted it - one of the things that has concerned me for a while is finding a way to buy a store of thyroid meds just in case in the future we arent able to import. Guest guest
Hi Ian, This lady is quite aware of how " Research " Labs work., but not all of us are. On open forums such as this, we need to spell out caution and take responsibility in looking after those members who do not have the same level of knowledge and/or expertise about the medication they have been prescribed or chosen to use themselves. It is difficult for the best of us at times to understand just how some drugs work, never mind the drugs being talked about openly here. T3 is a very active thyroid hormone and, in the wrong hands, or 'innocent' hands could be very dangerous and even cause death. It is rare for sufferers to even get access to liquid T3 - even more rare to get access to such high doses of100mcgs. Posting a one line comment such as " Similar price per mcg as MyMexicanDrugstore & easier to dose for those who split pills " , with a link to a web page that gives nothing but a warning, the product name and the price, is not the way to introduce this. In our Home Page message, which all members should have read, we ask specifically " Please cite references to information you post from web sites and books, so members can check the information for themselves " but make sure that the web site gives us the information we actually need. The link you posted did not, unfortunately. Can you imagine the possible consequences of some of our more 'innocent' or 'new to T3' members going to buy this product knowing only that we recommend most of us here are in need of some form of T3 and then not knowing how they should dose using this high dose liquid T3, especially if they have never used any form of T3 before? Luv - Sheila > Hi Sheila > > Now I am surprised. I would have thought a lady of your experience would know how " Research " labs work. Guest guest
Hi Sheila Understood & sorry if I caused any confusion. I thought the infomation looked self-explanatory, but I know it can be wrong to Assume! To be be fair, the dosage isn't 100mcg, it's 100mcg/ML, so one would have to consume a ML of liquid to take that dose. The same person could just as easily buy a bottle of 25mcg T3 pils & take 4 or more of them. As I said, I was only trying to help. Now you can see that, hopefully it's opened a new avenue for you & maybe a few people might spend 2 minutes of research before rubbishing what they don't understand. > > Hi Ian, > > This lady is quite aware of how " Research " Labs work., but not all of us > are. Guest guest
I have not heard of this company before and am wondering if they are a supllier of the core pharmaceutical ingredients to pharmaceutical companies. i.e. supply the T3 or T4 to a lab that makes it up into tablets. It looks like its a core synthetic ingredient/hormone for use in labs and research, rather than marketed as a medication per se. Clearly if somebody swallowed a whole bottle, thinking it's a drink, then it would be harmful and at a glance their bottles are similar looking. Looking at their conditions, they assume clients to be researchers, rather than patients buying meds. http://globalchemsupply.com/index.php?main_page=page & id=6 Fiona
Guest guest
Hi Fiona I've only heard of this lab recently myself. The " Research " is nothing to do with them supplying pharma companies, it's a disclaimer that keeps them legal. As I said, this lab is in the USA. A well established lab in this field would be ChemOne http://www.chemoneresearch.com/product.php?id=OQ or ReseachStop As you can guess from the other products on offer, they supply Body Builders. The products are mainly for Estrogen control, but body builders also (mis)use T3 to burn fat. Yes, you would certainly be in trouble if you slurped a bottle of the stuff, but is that any more likely than a bottle of pills? It is definitely easier to accurately measure than pill splitting. Unfortunately, the ignorance & cash restraints of the NHS force some people to do their own thing. Thankfully there are places to go! > > I have not heard of this company before and am wondering if they are a supllier of the core pharmaceutical ingredients to pharmaceutical companies. i.e. supply the T3 or T4 to a lab that makes it up into tablets. Guest guest
Hi Ian, A massive thanks from me for this one, I'm on liquid T4 as I also have bowel disease and absorption problems so I'm going for this. Actually at wits end just now, despite 100 of each T4 and T3 a day, my latest results were T4 = 10 and T3 = 1.2 TSH still non existant. Actually I'm going for it with a big syringe, it might get me out of bed :-) Cheers Tess > > Hi Fiona > > I've only heard of this lab recently myself. Guest guest
As you say you would get a more accurate dose, if measuring a liquid in terms of say 0.25ml etc than cutting tablets. No doubt then the term " research " is used as a loop-hole so to speak. Fiona
Guest guest
No Sheila, I didn't know that, wonder if they'll prescribe that for me, I'll be asking next week. Thanks you're a star.
