Latest blood results for Graves Disease

Hi Folks

Just to say that I've just picked up my blood results from GP. I'm in good

hands with my endo, and just about to email him but thought I'd run them past

you too. I think he's going to reduce my dose of carbimazole. I have the

beginnings of a sore throat this morning so will ask endo about that also as GP

not available until late tomorrow.

New results 11 Oct 2010 (following 5 days 30mg and then 7 days 20mg)

Serum TSh 0.03 (0.3-5)

Free T3 5.4 (3.5 - 6.5)

Free T4 14.2 (9 - 24)

Previous results 20 Sept 2010 whilst on 10mg(please bear in mind that by the

time I was seen on 29th Sept by endo I had SERIOUS toxicosis so think these

would have continued to rise after the blood test date)

TSH 0.03 (0.3-5)

Free T3 9.7 (3.5 - 6.5)

Free T4 16.6 (9-24)

Other things to report is I've gained 4 kilos in two weeks, am now foggy and

have period pain but no period, so I think I'm on my way to hypo and he'll

reduce the dose.

No antibodies tests at this stage, will ask him why.
