Problems since starting T3 only

I was on 4.5 grains of thyroid last year and doing fabulous. Then I changed to

ERFA and developed an RT3 problem.

Here are my recent labs prior to starting T3 only:

TSH: 0.01 (0.3-4.5)

T3 Free: 4.8 (2.1-4.2)

T4 Free: 1.16 (0.7-1.8)

RT3: 0.52 (0.14-0.54) pmol and US units 339.71

Ab to Thyrogobulin: 31 (<100)

Anti-TPO: 111 (<16)

I developed high cortisol symptoms in August as the abusive person I was living

with left the house. I was on 30HC and actually had to wean down to 15 as I was

getting increased hunger, higher glucose, high BP and pulse. Each time I weaned

I felt better and better. Obviously, living with the abusive person put a

tremendous strain on my adrenals.

However, I still had an RT3 issue so decided to start the RT3 protocol, as I

keep gaining weight and my temps are not up to scratch yet. I started on 50 T3

this Tuesday. I know technically I was on 45 T3 of natural thyroid, but I

thought an extra five mg of T3 wouldn't make much difference.

However, my BP is up which I am not happy with. My pulse is also slightly up.

Once I lowered my HC to 15 my pulse was back in the perfect position of the 80s

and my BP was between 105-125 systolic and 60-80 diastolic. Now it is 115-130

systolic and 60-80 diastolic and my pulse is in the late 80s to 90s. At times it

hits 100. I went back up to 20 HC to see if it would help. It hasn't.

The thyroid symptoms that came back with this RT3 issues are weight gain (the

worst symptoms of all – I regained 7% of my weight when I was only 10lbs from my

pre hypo weight; I had been continuously losing 1-2 lbs a week when I was on

Thai Thiroyd), PMS and period pain.

My basal temps have improved a lot on thyroid, but they never went up to

optimal. Before thyroid they were sometimes as low as 34.7! Now they are

36.0-36.3 in the follicular phase and 36.4 -36.6 in the luteal phase. My temps

during the day always seem to be 36.9-37.1 though.

Any thoughts? The high BP is what is concerning me at the moment.
