Even if you have been in receipt of Incapacity Benefit for many years, it is not

a great deal higher than the rate for Job Seekers Allowance. My brother told me

that the cost of sending everyone to tribunals by far exceeds the savings they

would make if people on Incapacity Benefit received Job Seekers Allowance

instead. Think of the cost of paying all those doctors on the assessment panels

for a start, never mind the massive bureaucracy.
