Has anyone any idea why my experience of 'clearing' would have been so horrible? Has anyone had a similar experience which resulted in a change of direction which has proved beneficial? I'm thinking of going back up to the 62.5 mcg dose and staying there, in the hopes that the RT3, which is no doubt building up again, will very gradually decay. > I am wondering if you have gone horribly hypo and not found your dose yet Do you have temperatures and resting pulse? what happened if you increased T3? I went down pretty quickly(2 weeks--went to 50 mcg immediately, then rapidly down to 12.5 mcg, as my life was falling apart), and am now off all meds(3 days no T3, 3 weeks no HC). Feel better now than when I wasw on the low dose T3--the low dose seemed to cause panic attacks of all things. Though skin is still hurting and flaking, feet hurt, brain foggy, etc. etc. it does seem to be getting a little better. The only thing I can think of is that the sudden clearance caused some kind of toxic dump--as I said on the RT3 site, the lights went out when I cleared. Very frightening. Somehow I had to go to work when I almost couldn't understand language. Fortunately it's slowly, slowly getting better, but it's still worrisome. Plan to get new T3 panel and then start back up, this time not going above 62.5 mcg or so and not taking HC. HC I could never figure out --low dose(20 mg), high dose(40 mg) whatever, I think I do better without it. I've always been very energetic and love exercise-HC made that more difficult. Went on this therapy originally as I had started to feel depressed and freezing and I do think I have an RT3 problem, which needs addressing. Would love to know if ANYONE has experienced anything similar with the clearing!! And, what's the washout period for T3(eriod of no T3), after which I can have a full thyroid panel done? Thanks so much to everyone. Whitmore. > > >1. 12.5 mcg is clearly causing me to feel more hypothyroid.
