Guest guest
Steph The headaches could be withdrawals from the wheat and food intolerance can raise the BP so leaving out the wheat nmaybe why your BP is dropping. Mo > Hi All > Am still keeping up the wheat free diet cos I feel so much more comfortable without all that swelling of my body. Of course could just be coincidence but the headaches are still continuing and I have had to have a couple of days off work. I have also noticed my pulse rates are slower, about 59 - 60 bpm has anyone else had this at all after stopping wheat? > Luv Stephie >

Guest guest
gluten can act like opiates on the brain, causing addiction/withdrawal (headaches!)? http://www.greatplainslaboratory.com/home/eng/peptide.asp " Urinary peptides are incompletely broken down pieces of protein. The peptides from gluten and casein are important because they can react with opiate receptors in the brain, thus mimicking the effects of opiate drugs like heroin and morphine " Chris (who needs to withdraw from gluten and milk, but hasn't yet)
