Guest guest
Can anyone answer this question. My Mother had surgery on her neck due to TB, and the operation would have involved several of her glands. When a Mother who has had this type of surgery and most certainly suffered damage to her glands, any babies that she had would in turn suffer from deficiencies of the damaged glands. We already know that the thyroid problem has been caused in this way plus abnormaliites. Could another problem in the same family come about due to damage caused to the parathyroid gland, so that in turn a baby would also suffer from lack of parathyroid hormone. Is it possible to be suffering from both thyroid and parathyroid problems. My health has gone downhill since a fall on a bus in June with my head taking the force, so could further damage have been done to the parathyroid gland. I have also been unable to eat animal protein or take calcium carbonate even with VIT D, but now have problems with magnesium. I have suffered from painful muscles that came on after the fall I had, and taking magnesium makes them worse, and to add this up I will never take another magnesium supplement. I also complained to my Mother and Doctors alike that I had pain in the left side of my neck. I have been studying a bit today and this is what I have come up with, so can anyone offer me their views as to whether I may be suffering from lack of thyroid hormones and parathyroid hormones. To end this I have my appointment to go to Chelsea and Westminster on 24th November. Kathleen
