Guest guest
Hi I was diagnosed with Graves and TED in October 2008 I was given carbimazol, steriods and cyclosporin. In December 2008 i was put on block and replace (carbimazol and thyroxine). Jan 2009 the eye disease really exploded and i had severe double vision along with torsion. I was given botox injection into the back of my eye to try and release the muscle, this was tried 3 times, it didn't work and so in June 2009 i had strabismus surgery which corrected the double vision. In November 2009 I orbital decompression surgery on both eyes to allow them to return to their pre TED position. Thankfully all this surgery has worked and my eyes are now as good as they every were. Unfortunatly all this year I have been struggling with exssesive tiredness, the shakes, tingling in my face, permenant headache and the feeling of a lump in my throat. My endo. has just discharged me saying my bood results are within normal levels. I have been back to my GP who is doing some more bloods. Can anyone help. My test rusults are T4 10 (9-23) TSH 2.00 (0.55-4.78) T3 4.8 (3.5-6.5), If these are normal why do I feel so bad?
