I have to say that in all honesty I do not feel very different on T3 only to how I felt on the Erfa. I have managed to get up to 70 mcg and have been on this dose now for 10 days. I think I probably am due an increase as my temperatures have dropped but are pretty stable, but I feel a little confused now as to where I am going with this. Sounds good so far. I can't remember your starting point though, I talk to too many people > >I did wonder if I could have reverse T3 issues but having read other posts on here would it have been possible with the bloods of T4 12.2, T3 6.9 and TSH 0.02? > Yes, lots of things trigger it >I an wondering if I should stick it out for another 6 weeks of switch back to the Erfa or just continue increasing. I am considering buying my own cytomel but funds are pretty tight with christmas and 3 children. But if I am only going to feel the same as on Erfa then I may as well go back to that. £50 roughly for 300 25mcg tablets, they take 2 to 4 weeks to arrive but there is a way of speeding things a bit, e-mail me privately if you want to explore it > >I think I need some reassurance to keep going and stick it out. > >Any advice or encouragement would be great. My gut feel says carry on, increases may become less often now you are at that point. Remind me what took you to T3 only? Nick
Guest guest
Hi Nick, My main reason for trying T3 only was cramp like pains in my thighs which come and go. I had got up to 3 grains of the Erfa and felt ot be improving and then the pains came back again. I started on 20mcg of t3 and have built up weekly. Love Lizzie > Sounds good so far. Those sound like low adrenals or magnesium deficiency, have you looked at either of those?? Nick
Guest guest
Hi Nick, I have had my adrenals checked and have checked my temp when the pain comes and it doesn't drop. I alsontake magnesium citrate 150mg daily. > > > >My main reason for trying T3 only was cramp like pains in my thighs which come and go. I alsontake magnesium citrate 150mg daily. Magnesium is poorly absorbed orally at times but can be absorbed through the skin easily. You can get magnedium oil sprays in health food shops that are sold for cramp, it's worth getting one and trying it as needed. the results are quick if it is the solution, Baths in Epsom Salts are good for this as well Nick
