Guest guest
I went to endo today and took a print out of the results of the questionnaire from Dr. Hertogue. I had a bit of a gruelling over it. Who is Dr. Hertogue (endo never heard of him). Why would I to internet. Questionnairs on internet cannot decide what is wrong with you. Pupil said she reckoned she would get the same answers if she did the questionnaire. Stupid woman. Does it not occur to them that it does not take a genius to take a load of symptoms and say it is possibly, or probably. I told him that is why I brought the paper to give some idea of the tests I needed. Which he refused I to do saying there is no indication for it. He did say there was a condition with the symptoms I had been describing and that he would arrange a test for me. I have a blood test form but cannot read his writing so do not know what it is for. One looks like testosterone. another like SHBG, another looks like 17-eHP one completely illegible, plus TSH, T4, T3 and HbA1C for the diabetes. I am to take this test a week before seeing him in this clinic, but I have an appointment to see him in the endocrine clinic in January but said to take this before going to the diabetic clinic. So I have no blood test form to take before endocrine clinic which seems daft to me because the blood test looks to be for the endocrine clinic. Last time I went to the endocrine clinic I had no blood test before. He wanted me to take one there and then but I had taken my thyroid meds that morning so didn't really want to. I made the excuse (which was sort of true) that I was going on holiday that afternoon and didn't have any time (I was actually going the next day). This time when I go to the endocrine clinic I shall be prepared and not take my meds for 24 hours. Lilian
