Gone full circle and now very unwell

Hi,

I have been taking natural thyroid for almost 4 years now. First Armour, then

Nature Throid and now Erfa. For about a year and a half I felt great.

I am now very unwell. I have pains in my arms, shoulders, wrists

(fibromyalgia?) and my feet are painful. I have unusual swellings around my

ankles. I am very tired and yet I have insomnia several nights a week. Despite

taking 2-3 grains of Erfa, my last blood results were around FT4 15 and FT3 3.9.

I am now very depressed and regard thyroid treatment as a life sentence and not

a relief of symptoms.

Any ideas, suggestions? My lovely GP has recently retired, so I will now have

to establish a good relationship with another GP and I really don't feel up to

it.
