Quick re-cap on my history, I have PCOS and endometriosis. I take Metformin for

the PCOS, prior to taking it I would be lucky to have 4 periods a year, now I

have regular cycles around 32days, I didn't used to ovulate and that was due to

low progesterone. I've done many cycles of IVF (so pumped my body full of

hormones)suffered severe OHSS (ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome)which saw me

hospitalised, had miscarriage which ended in me being admitted to hospital and I

have 1 wonderful daughter from it all. So up to the present when I saw Dr P he

recommended I look at Serenity cream, which I did and decided to try it, in the

hopes it would help with my crazy PMS (I feel awful when I have a period) and

non existant libido. So I tried it as directed but went over by a few days as I

lost track, so day 34 shows up still no period and on and on, I start panicking

thinking I've only just got my periods regular again I don't want them to stop

(I want to try to conceive/IVF again when I'm well enough)so on day 48 I decided

to take some of my IVF meds that I used to bring on a period, I only took 2 days

worth (usual course is a least a week)and my period arrived day 51. What do I

do now? do I try again with the cream on this cycle? or has the Metformin

normalised my hormones and therefore I am no longer in need of extra

progesterone?

Any advice please?

Sandie.
