Having worked for one of the 1st doctors to give RAI and heard the patients stories

and to have married a man who developed Graves /Hyperthyroid age 27 who was bamboozled into the OP age 40 and was told RAI was not safe in anyone under 40 i would from bitter experience say NO NO NO to any such intervention

Theres a survey which proved that after RAI 50% of patients became Hypothyroid

After 5 years 90% of all patients either RAI or OP became Hypothyroid

My husband has suffered the entire gamut of Thyroid Disease and been totally misdiagnosed and mistreated over the course of 40 years

Even though he is now on Armour he will never be well and far too much damage has been done to his body

Block and replace is a better treatment as far as i can see along with finding a really good Homeopath who genuinely knows how to restore your body

Above all do not smoke and do not use Aluminium or non stick coated ( flouride ) cookware
