Guest guest
Hi Jacki, Have you had an adrenal saliva test? I had the runs fairly bad, for several years, but as soon as I started HC it all sorted itself out. I only get dire rear now if I don't take enough HC... That's a lot of T3 and it will be stressing your adrenals. > > Hi any advice as I dont know what to do next. I am currently on 100mgt3 6NAX 3NT 2,000vitc and 25mgt4 and have the dire rear. After anything hot Iam running as I finish eating.
Guest guest
Did the problems start after you started these supplements? do you take them seperately or altogether? if seperately, does one supplement make it worse? have you skipped any of the supplements on any of the days to see if the problem lessens? could you be allergic to any of the supplements? have you read about vitamin c and bowel tolerance? if not, google it. I'd see your doctor, diaorrhea can deplete electrolytes which i gather can be very serious, but can be replenished with the right ratio of nutrients/electrolyte drink? i don't wish to panic you but i don't think you should take this lightly. chris > > Hi any advice as I dont know what to do next. Guest guest
It could be the vitamin C Jacki. Stop taking it for a few days and see if the 'dire rear' stops. Also, are you taking your Nutri Adrenal Extra with food - if not, start taking it with your breakfast and again with your lunch. Why are you taking 25mcgs T4 when on such a high dose of T3? Are you sure you still need the 3 Nutri Thyroid as the many nutrients/vitamins/minerals in this product is probably also contributing towards your 'dire rear'. Luv - Sheila Hi any advice as I dont know what to do next. I am currently on 100mgt3 6NAX 3NT 2,000vitc and 25mgt4 and have the dire rear. After anything hot Iam running as I finish eating. This has gotten worse over the weeks and now I am getting worried as I cannot even go out for a meal. Could this possibly be anything to do with my meds ,or is this something for my gp. I dont want to visit gp uneccessarily as he is still prescribing me 125mg of t4 and knows nothing of me self medicating as he isn't helpful in the slightest. Any thoughts welcome Many thanks Jacki
Guest guest
Hi Jacki,I agree with another responder that mentioned about the Vit. C . 2000 mg. daily is a lot, especially if you just suddenly take that much without building up to it gradually. Try reducing that.Just another comment as so few people know about this: diarrhea can be hormonally caused. I had it myself for several months to the degree that my weight stayed very low due to it. I had no health insurance and was so worried. I noticed it happened whenever I became depressed from lack of progesterone. It wasn't until much later that I read that hormone imbalances can result in diarrhea. I reflected back and realized that this most likely was what happened in my case. However, I feel in your case this is most likely a Vit. C issue and I would try reducing that first. If for some reason you must take so much of it then reduce it and build up to it gradually as your body gets used to it.Hope this helps. Let us know.Cheryl From: jacki.dunkley@... <jacki.dunkley@...>Subject: In despair advice pleasethyroid treatment Date: Saturday, November 27, 2010, 8:34 AM Hi any advice as I dont know what to do next. Guest guest
Hi there I am no expert but if the 3NT is 3 grains of natural thyroid, plus 100 t3 plus 25 t4 with 6 NAX that sounds like a hell of a lot of thyroid supplementation. I was on 4 grains NT and Dr P has put me on NAX to rise from 1-4 over the coming weeks, vit c 1000-4000 gradually. Whilst doing so I have to cut my NT to 1.5 grains and put it up only when suitable. I had diarrhoea like 'sudden uncontrollable soup' and think the 2 NAX plus 2000 vit c has firmed my poo up remarkably. I'd cut down the thyroid if anything good luck > > Hi any advice as I dont know what to do next. I am currently on 100mgt3 6NAX 3NT 2,000vitc and 25mgt4 and have the dire rear.
