Psychiatrist Recommendation

I am in the process of searching for a new med manager for my 21-

year-old son with Asperger's Syndrome, and was wondering if anyone

could recommend a psychiatrist who is familiar with/experienced in

treating people on the autism spectrum.

We looking for someone who is willing to really listen to and work

with us in finding the right meds to help my son, and who

understands and realizes that 'a little goes a long way' as far as

meds for AS people are concerned. My son has been overmedicated in

the past and has become wary about going back on meds, which, in the

right dosages, would help him. Right now, he is on benedryl only,

to help him with sleep issues.

We live in Streamwood, but would be willing to travel to the right

person. My son has also been diagnosed with bipolar-NOS.
