Guest guest
shari, thanks for the reply. i gues sometimes we need to whine via this site is because we "know you understand". it validates us , so thanks!halvey70@... wrote: I hope you rmarriage can survive this mess - I think it just takes some men longer to understand. It is hard to have the feelings that nobody believes you - I am still there. just know that you are not alone and we don't think that you are crazy. I am glad your mom is helpful and understanding and once you get them out at least the mental portion of the anxiety will get better. Guest guest
Is there any way to E-mail a pict. of Logan? That was one of the names I had picked for a baby boy. I always liked the name from the TV show called Logan's Run. My sister-in-law has a little boy named Logan in her family, so my husb. thought that it would be confusing. How did you decide on that name? It's a very strong, proud name. My husband, offered to take me to CA for 3 days to get away from our stress here. We talked about Disney, but since Quinn won't sit in a stroller right now,we thought that we'd wait a couple of months. We did get plane tickets to go to San Diego the last week of April though. I'm from Ft. Lauderdale, FL and I miss the ocean so much! I think that my health would be better if I was living by the beach again and could clear my head and meditate there. There is something very healing about the ocean to me. Of course, having a 2 yr. old throwing sand in my hair, trying to get my attention, could ruin that for me! haha.... How far are you from San Diego? I love that place, and I'd be thrilled to live there. It seems like a very healthy area with friendly people. I belong to a chronic pain-fibro group here and most of the women have kids that are grown-up. I am very frustrated trying to go thru this stage, (the 2's!) and being tired and in pain every day. I would love to get some advice on how you do it!! If you get a chance, will you call me at 702-361-6442 and let me know if there is any chance of seeing you in CA-that would be great! Love, Daryl Re: Halloween pict. of my husb. and baby Quinn DarylQuinn is so cute! I wish you lived closer so we could visit and let the boys play - my logan is only 3 months older! You guys ever thought of coming to Disney? If you ever do let me know as I would love to get together.loveshari

Guest guest
thanks carrie I am sorry about your daughter - I just find it hard to get over the anger of all of this mess. My son is so young - before explant my biggest fear is that I would/will die before he is old enough to remember me later on... I love him so much and I feel bad that I can't do all the things with him like playing outside, etc. i spend a lot of time with him inside, watching movies and reading, doing crafts, etc but I know it isn't the same. He will get older and wonder why I am always inside the house and not out riding bikes like the other mommies in our neighborhood. i hope all of this mess ends soon and I can get the treatments that I need to get better for my family. I wish I were able to go to sun valley as I think it would be good for me to get away for a while - oh well. If my disability crap gets cleared up in the next few weeks I will be able to go unless they deny me. love shari
Guest guest
I know girl, it was like that for me too, hopefully he will be too young to remember and you will be better by the time he reaches my daughters age. I know one thing for sure, my daughter will never get implants. She is smarter than that, my sister I still cannot believe but with all those people around her at the shop she works at and the gym all having multiple plastic surgeries I won't be surprise if she continues with other stuff like tummy tucks and face lifts, she is really insecure. I am sure it is hard on her to be 50 and feel younger and look younger, but hell she looks fine she does not need to do all that crap to herself. Someday i have a bad feeling those gels of hers will end up leaking and then she ill regret it. Right now she relys on her good friend who has them for 15 years and still has not replaced them. Crazy. Hang in there Shari and we will keep praying you can make it to Sun Valley! Guest guest
thanks patty - i just wish I knew of where to have his blood tested - I am weary of going to doctors now and mentioning it because of the way i am used to being treated - I need to find a specialist to take him and myself to but don't know where to go. i am contemplating going to Dr. Kolb so she can do the tests on the candida, etc., which i think is also my son's problem. I have been looking around - none of the inf disease docs around here will help so where do I turn to next? what type of doc does the dark field testing? I have looked on the web for maybe a holistic dr to help but i don't know where to look. Maybe an immunologist? sheeesh. Guest guest
thanks Patty - I agree. it is so exciting that I may have a chance and so generous of an offer!!! what time are you being picked up at Pocatello? I will search there too so it would be easier for . Gosh I hope this works out as I am really looking forward ot this meeting! Guest guest
Patty - thanks for checking but united does not fly to Pocatello so i would have to fly to Boise as it is the only option that Crickets miles would cover unless I went to Slat Lake City and booked a flight myself directly to Sun Valley - Cricket said it was only $200 so I will ask my hubby but we are so broke right now... if my short term disability kicks in then I would be ok but if not then I just don't know - I will have to wait and see. I am so excited and hope this works out - cricket is such a wonderful person to offer this to us that can't afford it so we can have a chance to come up. she is an angel! love shari
Guest guest
United does not fly into Idaho Falls or Sun Valley, Just Boise. I would be willing to pick you up if you let me know what time etc. It will be a long drive for us but I am willing as I said before. If it is only you I still won't need the van, for just 3 of us. If there are more than I need the van and will need some help with gas money. Hugs Carie In , " Colleen " <cricket5643000@y...> wrote: > I completely forgot I even had miles. Guest guest
Shari~ I'm SO glad it went so well. Hopefully she adjusts to the helmet as well as she did with the casting. McKenna goes every 3 weeks. She hasn't needed an adjustment, but they can do them. She did need a wedge put into it the first week because it kept slipping over her eyes. They also measure her head each time to see how much correction she has made. When kenna started out her measurement was off by a little over 1/2 inch (think it was inches) and at her recheck after 4 weeks the measurement was under 1/4 inch. So, she made huge gains in a short time. Did you ask them what her starting measurements were? Did you take pictures of her now, in all angles? It is so nice to look at before pictures and then pictures throughout the course of the helmet. I'm not sure if you were given any information about care of the helmet, but I highly recommend Zeasorb powder. I had to have it special ordered from Walmart, but it sure cut down on her sweating and stinking. Be prepared, regardless of how well you clean it, they still sweat in it. A few times Kenna almost knocked me out with her stench of a dirty gym sock :-) Tami > > > > Just wondering how Hannah did with her casting. It is to strange how similar thease childrens symptoms are and I can not believe the medical profession still insist its safe to breast feed when no research has been done. The children are the biggest victims in all of this. take care love

Guest guest
Sandy, Please be careful about eating too much tuna. Most tuna is harvested in coastal waters, which are polluted with mercury and other toxins. Tuna is controversial...the claim is that they accumulate mercury and heavy metals in its tissues. There have been cautions issued for pregnant women, children, and others with immune system illness to be careful with tuna consumption. A better choice is Salmon, and other deep ocean fish, such as mackerel, sardines, herring, flounder and sole. See http://www.iwu.edu/~wellness/environment_folder/fishy.htm With an adventuresome spirit and some experimenting, you might find that there are some new foods to enjoy on this novel path to eating well. Eating right can be very difficult, I agree. But if you make gradual changes in your diet, over time you will find that your choices become second nature. You will find certain brands and products that you enjoy, and once you find the right substitutes and sources for those substitutes that are consistent, then things become much easier. I just want to mention one caution. We can often relax our standards (I've done it)...thinking that just once we are going to give in and buy the not-so-healthy option because we are too tired to make the trip to buy the healthy alternative, or we are just going to give in once and enjoy that snack that is a no-no, or buy the regular instead of the organic...be careful of this mind-set because it can really be a trap when you end up giving in all the time. I'm not saying that you can never relax and enjoy just eating a good meal out and not worrying about all this stuff, because I think life should be enjoyed and eating in a spirit of celebration is part of that. But I am saying that many times it takes bit of resolve and vigilance to make the right choices on a day by day basis. But, as I said, once you've got your sources and you know what works for your diet, then things become much easier. Sandy, if you need more help with this aspect of getting healthy, please keep asking questions! Patty Sandy Verticelli <dusty.com@...> wrote: Shari, When I was implanted with saline implants almost immediately my body started going through the change of life at 46 years old My periods stopped long ago. I still hurt where they cut under my armpits for implantation and explantation. I wanted it done under my armpits so I would not be scarred. I never knew anything at the time about scar tissue and capsules until I found all of you. I am just so weak and have the body of an old woman and the list goes on and somewhow through all this I am trying to move forward to get my health back in tact. The medical field has really let me down I still do not know how to eat right because all the foods listed is foreign to me and I cannot stomach any kind of fish except tuna. Where do you get tunafish that's not in a can and the organic stuff is to expensive so I am not eating right at all. I tried to eat cabbage and that was just awful, Bet i am not the only one with the issue of not eating the right. I wish I had my old body back, Sandy How low will we go? Guest guest
Dear Shari: Somehow I lost your e-mail address, so will respond here. I was truly sorry to find out that your latest mammogram has indicated a potential problem that may pose a need to take further action. Four millimeters would be fairly small and probably could be taken care of easily, though my knowledge of those things is spotty. Anyhow, I definitely would have a biopsy as quickly as possible. If it really turns out to be a problem, you can have things taken care of quickly. If not, it will ease your mind. So I wish you good luck and good news! Please e-mail me so I can get your address back. Thanks. Best wishes, Margot
