Guest guest
Hi all, I was in hospital for 7 days in ICU for most of the time ....I almost died on my 49th birthday. The doctor told me that n ight it was how hard I fought that would determine the outcome. I fought. I am here. I was on oxygen mask for 15 hours with sedation. It was horrific. But I lived to see my children once again. The really scary thing was they did not treat my CML while I was there, and my counts rose, but my doctor said it was ok, that even a normal healthy person with my case would have a CBC of 20,000. Counts coming back down, to 13,500. I can now breath and eat on my own so they sent me home. thanks so much for thinking of me. I hope I can get stronger soon, it stinks being bed ridden for this long a period. Love to all, Lynne A.
