Guest guest
Folks - a kind gentleman named Adam recorded the conference, all of Dr. Furman's talk and some of the Q & A. Lucky for me (and you), this makes me look less like a fool :-) The file is 11 megabytes long - I have to figure out how to get it to you. Give me a little time. Guest guest
I had the best intentions to listen to the conference, but something unexpected happened. Someone broke my garden back fence while I was away on Thursday night, did not take much but made a mess as well as the broken fence. On Monday a friend came to fix it and I got so exited to have it fixed so soon that I acted as his assistant, passing on screws, timber, getting tools together, etc. I was not tired doing it, I was just like any normal healthy person, but when all was done I went into the house and laid down to have a rest. Well it was 2 in the morning when I woke up finding myself sleeping on the sofa, so I just went to my bed. I must have slept about 6 to 7 hours and managed to sleep until the morning as well. It was only in the morning when I read the digest that to my horror I realised I had missed the conference. The lesson I learnt was no to do so much physical work even I feel well, and also to accept how unreliable I can be. It would be nice to listen to the conference if it can be organised to listen to it on line. regards Chonette
