I don't know your exact situation, but I can share things I have done when

my son has had a medical procedure to ease his mind:

arranged in advance that more time is needed

asked that the overhead lights be dimmed, if possible

brought a koosh ball or music on a cd player

written my own social story about the particular situation

I hope 's ekg goes well.

Thanks, Kat, I will keep searching. I did come across some video stream showing different steps to the procedure on Google images, if anyone else is interested that link is:

did you try flickr images, www.hiyah.net (going to the doctor), or U tube videos?
