Hi, this is Gloria Kern. I wrote previously about being on this committee and asked for input about what you would like as far as topics. Our ideas were well received. I am on the publicity, speaker, and tables committees. Is anyone interested in either making a presentation or having a table for parents to visit, or have talents with publishing materials or ideas on how we can make a good brochure inexpensively? The topics must be relevant to the Transition to the Adult World for individuals with special needs and challenges, and should be available in Will County. We will be addressing Transportation, Career Solutions, What can parents do if they don't have funding, Got funding - how can I use it?, Employment atives, Day Programs.
