Hi All, Looks like Noelle may have broken her arm on the swingset yesterday according to her pediatrician this morning.... It didn't even swell that much and she can move it, but it's very tender to the touch and she can't put pressure on it. I'll know more after her ortho appointment this afternoon. How many casts can one kid have?!- Noelle's mommy, 3 years oldRochester NYCasted 8 times for 1 1/2 years and in first brace!reflux, mild plagiocephaly, mild torticollos, hypotonia, ligament laxity, suspected Ehler's Danlos III

Guest guest
Yes! Both Rochester kiddos! LOL Noelle is great.... She amazes me every single day! We have been keeping the brace on 24/7 except for bath and swim time, but she moves like a gazelle! I swear nothing can keep this kid down! Her arm cast is water resistant, not water-proof, which means it can get wet for showers but not to be submerged for swimming. I cannot take water away from her now that we've gotten it back..... I don't have the heart or the strength. So I've been bagging her arm and sealing it off with HY tape and letting her do her thing. The cast is getting a little smelly because it's a type of water-resistant cotton bandage inside the cast, not gortex. But I'll deal with it! - Noelle's mommy, 3 years oldRochester NYCasted 8 times for 1 1/2 years and in first brace!reflux, mild plagiocephaly, mild torticollos, hypotonia, ligament laxity, suspected Ehler's Danlos III From: heather@... <heather@...>Subject: Re: broken arm?infantile scoliosis treatment Date: Wednesday, July 7, 2010, 2:44 PM YIKES! Guest guest
You have dealt with soo much already, I wouldnt imagine a bit of stinky tape would be an issue! Noelle has come so far, Steph. I bet Rochester had a bit of a chuckle...not that it was funny she broke her arm....just that they now have 2 precious little girls with 2 types of casts! Imagine what a pair the girls would make if they were able to meet in person! When does the arm cast come off? Guest guest
Thanks ! Actually, Rochester doesn't know yet! We will go back for another arm x-ray the 3rd week in July and then we'll know more about her arm. We ARE due back in Rochester the last week in July as well, so I'll bring them copies of her arm x-rays.... I'm SURE that rochester will get a kick out of this when I get there! - Noelle's mommy, 3 years oldRochester NYCasted 8 times for 1 1/2 years and in first brace!reflux, mild plagiocephaly, mild torticollos, hypotonia, ligament laxity, suspected Ehler's Danlos III>>> From: heather@... <heather@...>> Subject: Re: broken arm?> infantile scoliosis treatment > Date: Wednesday, July 7, 2010, 2:44 PM>>>  >>>> YIKES!
