Guest guest
My kids got them at ages 4 1/2 and 14 months old. They had quite a few and didn't do anything to treat them besides the good old oatmeal baths and they got over it without a complaint at all even though they were really covered with pox. Guest guest
Arsenic too. I read something about arsenic causing some kind of skin spots. does he play on a deck or playground made out of pressure treated wood? There is tons of stuff about this on the internet. Visit www.beyondpesticides.org for starters. Guest guest
Do they have pressure treated wood playground at his school? Or do you live in an area that has known problems with too much arsenic in your drinking water? I cannot remember the exact part of the US but I think it was somewhere in the western part of the US? Guest guest
> I hope your #2 son goes through his cp with flying colors, Sara! : ) (from what I hear it's getting harder to find it to expose your children to, though. Good luck!) > \Thanks me too! He will probably do better, he has never been vaccinated! As for finding chicken pox, it isn't *that* hard, just find someone with shingles and let your kid play " rub the rash " , sounds kind of gross, but worth it.
