Guest guest
Does anyone on this list have experience with immigration and the vaccination requirements? There is no mention of exemptions. Does this mean I will need to be vaccinated or denied entry? I've had measles, mumps, chicken pox, - will they require proof of immunity for exemption? Does anyone have any suggestions for how to avoid these vaccines and still be approved for entrance into the US? Thanks very much for your time. http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/factsheets/950.htm Proof of Vaccinations Under the 96 Act, aliens seeking to immigrate permanently are inadmissible unless they have been vaccinated against mumps, measles, rubella, polio, tetanus and diphtheria toxoids, pertussis, influenza type B and hepatitis B, and any other vaccine-preventable diseases recommended by the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices. This provision took effect September 30, 1996.
