Me too. A good friend sent me a journal to keep up my stuff in and i need to use it to plan ahead my meals. I don't want to let her down:) I have been working on keeping my house cleaner too. I have found if I do the stuff immediately it seems to get done more. Example wakeup...make bed. Eat....do dishes. Take bath....Do laundry. If I don't put the stuff off I seem to actually get it done. Now.... To put that into action on my peal planning....

Also setting time aside to do menus for the week. I never do a full 7 days. NEED TO...

My ultimate goal is if I am a happier person, more organized, better mom, THAT it will make for a happier marriage. A happier home.

I would start from scratch. Act like you've never tried to FLY before I did that this time and it is working out pretty great. I didn't do much yesterday so I did a quick Crisis Cleaning and it only took about 45 minutes to get the house back in shape again. I am doing better routine wise. I din't let myself watch TV until the kiddos lay down for their naps then I can only watch 30-60 min. At night I allow myself 2 hours. That is enought to watch a movie or my fave tv show House. I do 3 routines Early (morning), Mid day and Evening (Bedtime)routines I break mine up differently than she does and it helps me stay focused. It seems for me to be easier to watch my calories when I stay on my routines. Blessed be,

My time killer isn't t.v. - mine is the computer and emails LOL - so I have gotten so I only allow myself an hour a night - more on the weekends, for now anyway. That's why I will come on here and respond to some current stuff and then go back and respond to the older stuff that I kept to respond to. :-D

I guess I will literally make myself a schedule. Almost like school. Maybe I can homeschool myself in something. So after my walk today and picking up. I am going to sit down and make a schedule for M-F. Flying I think will be key for me. I never did it from square one. I went right to the zones. I need to declutter first. So it is back to babysteps for me.

- I think it's great - I read your weekend rant last weekend, then your checking in through out this week and now this one how you want to organize your time and life to become healthier and happier.

Believe me, this will help you a lot. I know you have a dh and children so their happiness is your goal too, but just remember along the way that if you don't take care of you, noone else will either. So, be sure to give yourself 30-60 minutes alone of time each day for exercise, reading, praying, whatever you want to do in that time. That alone will help you immensley (sp).

FLY lady is a wonderful system and I have been getting her emails for months - some of you have been mentioning that. The thing that I love about her is the gentle reminders that you are never behind and can do anything for 15 minutes. So, even if you have to break down your " time" into 15 minute increments - you'll get there. Give yourself 15 at the beginning and end of the day and you are halfway there.

Maybe you and dh can do the same thing for " and hubby time" - don't know if you do or even want to right now LOL....

I took a spreadsheet and across the top row I wrote the days of the week, then down the side row I blocked out the time in I think 30 minute increments - then I got busy blocking in the time. I did not account for sleeping time in the graphs LOL - that is almost a given since I pretty much go to bed and get up at the same time, so I start mine 5-6 a.m. and end 9-11 p.m. - I put in my to/from/during work time, Curves, study, dinner etc.... any blanks left are for other things - cleaning house, laundry, etc.

Hope that helps - love your messages, you are a great inspiration!

Are you the only one usually home during the day? I know I was so I use to

get stuck with those jobs, too.

That parasite might have lodged in his lungs, too. I hope they find out soon

what it is. How's he *feeling*?

Typical spoiled politician.

Hope you feel better today. I've had a busy weekend, as well as email

problems (again) and am way behind in mail.

Dear Ann,

I should have asked you last Friday about this coming

Friday, 9/21. Friday evening is the start of Yom Kippur,

and we will be eating supper early. I know it is difficult

for you to change your schedule, but if you can see Danny

earlier, that would be terrific. Otherwise, we will have

to cancel Danny's appt this week.

I'm sorry for this late email.

Joe
