Guest guest
I went for my annual mammogram today. Everytime I have one I also have to have a sonogram with it because I have alot of cysts. It looks like this time it is more than a cyst. The radiologist came in while I was still laying on the exam table and said I had something suspicious and its not a cyst. He said I could come back in 3 months or have a needle biopsy. He did say it had blood supply going to it. To me that means a tumor. It is very small I think he said 4mm or 4cm I'm not sure. He said it is tiny. Now needless to say I am very upset about this. My Dr. should recieve it next week, and I think I will probably have the biopsy. He said it was my choice. If that isn't enough my Husband just got a promotion and we are being relocated from Kansas to Tulsa, OK. We just put our house on the market and everything is happening so fast. I was already worried about finding a new Hem/Onc and now this to worry about. I guess what has scared me is him saying it has a blood supply going to it. If anyone knows what that means I would appreciate some input. I'm terrified. Shari from Kansas dx feb 03 last pcr 0.04 MDACC
