Call for Action for AIDS vaccines

The world needs an AIDS vaccine.

Twenty years into the epidemic, 60 million men, women and children

have been infected. Millions more are at risk. We cannot afford to

delay.

Sign at http://www.iavi.org/callforaction by 25 June to urge world

leaders to take decisive action to ensure the development of safe,

effective and accessible preventive AIDS vaccines for use throughout

the world.

This Global Call for Action for AIDS Vaccines will be presented at the

United Nations General Assembly Special Session on HIV/AIDS in New

York.

The International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) is coordinating this

effort. IAVI is an international nonprofit organization working to

accelerate the development of preventive AIDS vaccines and assure
