Guest guest
hi all, i was wondering if there is any connection between cll and glaucoma? i had these vague pains in my eye and light sensitivity and had scheduled an eye exam. woke up yesterday with distinct pain behind my eye and reduced vision and lights (pretty colors btw)----got in to a specialist that day. they were very glad i came in---eye pressure was 40 in both eyes which can lead to permanent eye damage. since i had my eyes examined in july and the pressure was fine---- wondering if this is possibly connected to cll cells blocking the drainage system or in someway leading to increased pressure. it was considered an emergency---they kept me for three hours and i will return on monday for further exams. i know steroids can be a contributor and i was on a steriod cream for about two weeks but of course can't dismiss the cll connection. thanks for whatever knowledge is offered. best to all, lynn c.
