Guest guest
Folks - I just noticed to my horror that this stuff is not clear on our website!!! As I mentioned, we are redoing the site and this will be very prominent. In the meantime, let me provide the following info, bearing in mind that different labs have different low and high limits for the various counts: At Cornell (New York Presbyterian) they use: White Blood Cells (WBC) 5.0 - 10.8 Red Blood Cells (RBC) 4.7 - 6.1 Hemoglobin (HGB) 14 - 18 Hematocrit (HCT) 42 - 52 Platelets (PLT) 130 - 400 Lymphocyte percentage 10 - 50% Neutrophil (granulocyte) percentage 37 - 80% (These two together will come to about 90%, then you have about 10% of odds and ends) Absolute lymph count (WBC x %) 0.6 - 4.1 Absolute neutrophil count (WBC x %) 2.0 - 6.9 Other numbers are much less important.
