Guest guest
In mentioning the German born professor, I wonder if he knows, and if he teaches about the true story, once classified, of Operation Paperclip in which notorious Nazi doctors and scientists of varied persuasions were secretly brought to the US so we could learn their secrets. Many of these men became heads of prestigious institutions. Are they the backbone of infamous US human experiments? Like Anthrax shots. The POW issue is also connected to medical experimentation. On the note of recruitment, my 19 year old son, a tall strong young man who is a paramedic and reputed to be extremely composed under durress, was introduced to a recruiter by one of his EMS supervisors. My son, when pressed for reason why he did not want to join said, I'm a medic. You would send me to areas of conflict. If captured or abandoned due to mission failure, you would declare me dead and let me rot in some prison. If I got sick due to my duty, you would tell me it was a psychological problem and refuse me medical treatment, and if somehow I remained alive AND healthy, you would use me for bio-medical experimentation. Now you tell me why I should talk to you further. The education you provide does make a difference. The fact that DoD discredits you proves they fear you. That is part of their methods

Guest guest
, I can sympathise with you. I am loosing more slowly . So I can I can add new meaning to the phrase, there is always someone worse off!! I loose manybe 1/2 pounds per week. I am on ww since July 1 and have only lost 5 pounds..of course, I have screwed up a few times..I wouldn't be human if I didn't. Now I ahve added exercise, more of it, so I am hoping to do better... Lat week I walked 4 days plus did walking arobics, per a video I have. And did ll about 3-4 times. I need to do ithat daily but for some reason, I don't. I'm at the PC now so I should try it now!! Anyhow, I'd be thrilled with 1 pound per week!! So keep up the good work. Does anyone remember the bikini breaths routine by Pam Grout? I have been trying to do them on the way to work but can't seem to remember the exact way. I know breath in and count (breathe through nose? mouth?). then hold for 4 times as long a count as the inhale... then exhale for 2 times, going slowly..and tighten the abs...however, blow out through mouth, nose.. Maybe it doesn't matter..not sure.... Please let me know. I can't do ll at work but these I can do! Thanks, Ellen

Guest guest
Hey & & Group Regarding Bone Pain: I have been told that its unrelated, but I had numerous Chronic Orthopedic Diseases pre our bug~CML. I actually have OsteoNecrosis, which is 'bone death disease'. None of the Doctors will link any of my diseases to our bug. I've had 3 hip surgery's, and in need of 4-5 Orthopedic Surgery's at the present time; but the 3 Ortho Surgeons said 'bye' and put me in Pain Management because they didn't want their reputations tarnished. . . performing major operations on me. My common sense tells me that they use bone marrow in diagnosing our disease, and we have some bone pain(hmmm). I know that my pain level has increased in the 3 years I have been a survivor(hmmm). Our immune system, bone marrow, and blood are all involved(hmmm); but my Oncologist, & 3 Ortho Surgeons say that they aren't related. Go figure. . . I am on 'what they call heavy medications' for my Chronic Pain and will be for life. Make sure that your doctor gives you something other than Percocet for your pain because of the Acetaminophen in this medication; which is detrimental to the liver. Percodan is stronger, and uses Aspirin. Vicodin works for minor pain. As with any medication, start with the lesser dosage. I have been up & down with pain medications since the early '90's; and with my Chronic Orthopedic Diseases. . . all of which I call Chronic Illnesses. I am never pain-free and will have to take the medication for life. Take care Group. . . and know that I have all in my prayers. " K " " I AIN'T FINISHED YET " !!!
