Guest guest
Hi - once again I refer you to clltopics.org - they have an article published by Mayo - calls it a "soup to nuts" on CLL. By the way, the CIG web page, which we are creating (painfully slowly) will have such information also, but you still have to wait a few months. Guest guest
Sybil, My husband Dave (49 yrs at transplant) also had bone lesions with his CLL/SLL but they didn't discover them until a few months after his allo SCT (sibling donor)in July 05. He had pain in his back and hip so bad it would drop him to his knees when it acted up. They said it had no relation to the cll at first but when a nurse finally saw him have an attack they did a pet scan which showed the lesions. He has not had much pain since and they did say the transplant would do the job but it takes a while to heal these things. Why does your doctor not think its cll?, because of the lesions? I have heard of a few with them but I think for the most part they go undiagnosed and as far as I know the pet scan is the only test that shows them. Good luck on your allo, Bev
