Accessing posted messages through the web

I currently do NOT receive any email messages of individual postings or the

daily digest for either or Light. Instead, I use a browser and

view the posts through the website. This allows me much more

control about what I see and when. The website for the groups is nicely

formatted, showing all related messages in a chain when you view a particular

message / post.

To do this, you must have a group ID and also provide an email address ..

doesn't need to be a address; any address will do. Once you log on to

, you will see the groups you have joined. I joined the new Light

group via the email mechanism (sending an email to LIGHT )

and when I got my verification email, I clicked on the web address to join.

That added it to my . I then turned off the receive email option

and bookmarked the actual address of the groups messages. For the new light

group, the address is LIGHT/messages

Because of the group involvement, your experience may be somewhat

different. You can email me if you want help setting this up and I'll do what I

can .. I highly recommend moving to the browser view of our groups and forget

receiving the emails. If you want to email me, you can create a reply to this

post then select ONLY my email address from the " to " drop down list.
