Are all CLL treatments palliative?

Recently I received an email from a CLL patient who asked me if CLL treatment

was palliative.

I simply had never considered this and had no answer.

If you read the definition " To palliate a disease is to treat it partially and

insofar as possible, but not cure it completely. " , I suppose it is palliative.

So what do you think?
