Guest guest
UCLA Insights into Cancer Lecture Series Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM Update 2010: Lymphoma and Chronic Lymphoid Leukemia (CLL) Reagan UCLA Medical Center Auditorium, B Level, Room B130 Parking is available at the RRMC (valet parking) and the Medical Plaza Pinter-Brown, MD, UCLA Clinical Professor, medical oncologist, and researcher discusses the range of lymphomas and chronic lymphoid leukemia. Research is leading to better understanding of the many subtypes of lymphoma and how to differentiate them based on their genetic make-up. Standard treatment strategies as well as novel approaches, based on the most recent research, is discussed including topics such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunologic therapies and other targeted approaches. I hope to see some of you there. Dr. Pinter-Brown is my doctor and was a speaker for the last LRF Conference this fall. If you are not familiar with the Medical Plaza or Hospital feel free to e-mail me for directions by e-mail or phone or call UCLA at 310-794-6644. Parking is $11.00 at both locations - $3.00 for those with a handicapped placard - credit cards accepted. I find parking at the Medical Plaza is easier, especially if everyone is getting out of the meeting at the same time. It is right next to the new hospital.
