I know I have had them in left leg twice before and once in lungs. Just don't want him to have an excuse to yank me off tx. It's called phlebitis Pat & they give you blood thinners like Coumidine for it. Then you have to be careful that you don't fall or cut yourself cause you bleed a lot, like a hemophiliac. They put my old Boss on blood thinners then told him not to get into fights cause he could bleed to death inside & not know it. Erythema

nodosum is swelled up bumps (nodules) I got in my legs. My legs swelled

so bad it was painful to walk and there were knots in them. It’s

often an allergic reaction. They weren’t sure if it was from tx or

because my thyroid whacked out then, too. But they had to rule out the

deep vein thrombosis & that test was like an ultrasound on my legs from my

crotch to my ankles. No needles involved.

/De

RE:

WW

Well I was hoping I could wait it out til I see him

May 9th. What is erythema nodosum???

Leg isn't real bad right now lot of swelling has gone

down keep it elevated, I know I should call but don't want to be on heparin or

coumadin, I know I am being hard headed and stupid but unless things get worse

I will mention it 9th. What is a DVT test? Deep Vein

Thrombosis?? Is that the test where they insert needle in top of ankle

and let loose liquid fire in all the veins?? Thats what it felt like to

me both times they did it in the leg, the test for the lung didn't hurt but

kinda made you hot and abit breathless. hugs...ww

Ok, if the insurance company is giving you a hard time, call your drug

manufacturer & tell them you had to waste one and the insurance company is

giving you a hard time. If you're on Pegasys, it's Pegassist

(1-877-PEGASYS) for the 24/7 nurse hotline. If you're on Peg Intron, they

have a patient number, too.

Don't give up unless you absolutely have to. But if you have to, accept it

and don't blame yourself because it won't be you that failed, it will be the

treatment that failed you. Everyone can't do it. It is just too toxic for

some bodies.

RE: De

Hi De sorry missed chat just couldn't do it darn it. Well I haven't been

throwing up lately but every time I eat my stomach just hurts and swells up

hard as a rock. The fools I get my meds from said to get an early

prescrition well that will be a fight they don't like to renew until 7 days

prior to it being last dose. Will go in Sun. and renew and fight they won't

give me an extra one I will just be short one I guess. Don't want to do

that again throwing up or hitting the vein lol. Probably went to far down

leg and can't see any of the veins very clear. Usually use stomach and now

the stinking shots hurt they didn't before. I don't know about ready to say

screw it but then I decide I am not giving Bubba free rein over me. If I go

down it will be with a fight but I am so tired mentally and physically now

so crazy to be like this. She said it usually gets better after 12 weeks

well I am counting hahaaa. Just 41 shots to go lol. Take care De. WW

Check

that thyroid regularly. It gets out of whack easily on tx, especially if it

already had issues.

I

always used by belly for shots. Still do if I have to do Imitrex shot. It’s

just easier & more fat. Legs bruised more & hurt more.

Tim

Hey Tim, doing okay sleep wise but around 3rd

week couldn't sleep at all. I don't do leg anymore after hitting that

vein. Figure its safer in stomach lol. I am really tired but my counts

are low and maybe thyroid is off again, its horrible to force yourself to do

simple things, don't even like visitors right now. Don't know whats up

but it to will pass. hugs...pat

This lab next week the thyroid is being tested this time along with red and white count. Probably won't do a viral load til next time. I am getting antsy to see if the load is changing. She said she will test thyroid every three months but maybe I should see regular doc also?? I am getting real tired of feeling like this but refuse to give up. Its torture trying to eat something no matter what it is now don't even like yogurt anymore lol. WW Motley <dmotley@...> wrote: Check that thyroid regularly. PAT - WW group and chat has been soooo quiet without you we have missed you. We need to keep group going and active more without you. :) Honey you just hang in there on tx and do the best you can on it. Tx affects all of us very differently some more than others with complications and sides. All we can do is try our best and know that we gave it our best shot or shots no pun intended and hope and pray for all the best. Hoping for All The Best For You. Love and Hugs. Get some Boost or Ensure, something you can drink & still get some nutrition. Are you drinking your water? Remember, at least a gallon a day or you'll dehydrate. If you can't do plain water get some Crystal Light or since you're not eating properly, Kool-Aid or the like. You HAVE to eat something girl, how can your body wage war against the dragon with no ammunition! Hugs, SuZie & Sir SpYke the Magnificent - she's right you know, you've got to eat!!!

Before My Husband started tx his dr made sure to have all stomach/digestive issues under control. He said tx is very hard on a digestive system. So it makes sense to have all issues addressed.Del Compton <go_deliman@...> wrote: Hi you tx peeps! It sounds as if everyone is doing pretty good , and thats great! When I first found this group, I was so happy to find that alot of what I had been through was real. I had felt like I was losing what little mind I had left. I would experiance something and be dismissed. The first hep dr I had down played my problems. Then I only had him 3 months during tx. The dr I found that would finally agree to put me on tx had never had a hep patient before me!!! He was never checking my labs like they were supposed to be checked. Not watching my blood counts and such. But somehow I made it through tx. I found this group and realised I WAS CRAZY BUT I WAS NOT INSANE!!!! HAHAAAAA. love and hugs dpatricia <pandas2@...> wrote: Wow that is weird so happy that its not in my head haa. My husband said is it a cramp etc. and I couldn't explain it. Group, I love what Sylvia had to say about WW "watch and worry". Three weeks in and I can actually see light at the end of the tunnel.
