I was diagnosed with CLL in 2009 when I was 56 years old. I am on watch and

wait which I am good with finally. Right now I have swollen lymph glands and a

very stiff neck. My questions is does the use of steroids ever help this type

of symptom?

There is a treatment used in CLL called HDMP+R (High dose methylprednisolone

and rituximab)

It is often used on 17p deleted patients or those that are resistant to

fludarabine

It is currently a Phase II trial using HDMP and Ofatumumab in relapsed or

refractory CLL.
