Guest guest
Dear Forum members, Unfortunately we have come across few qualified Doctors in Non allopathic also taking the advantage of this testing phenomena. For instance, one Dr. Mahesh Doshi in Kandivali-Mumbai uses Photo Worship Therapy and fool people. I have witnessed one such case, but patient was relactant to complaint. This Dr. also has contacted MDACS (He claims!) offering help. Some Ayurvedic companies utilise, the name of professor of the various institutions and 12th world conference, Geneva to promote their products.Only thing their study was presented in this conference as poster. Many doctors have presribed their Medicines after this claims. These are new versions of Majid's phenomena. I don't want to say that Ayurvedic medicines are useless, but tactics to sell products are not good. I was shocked to hear the name of the professor who testfied these products. One of the mistake we all do is to say " there is no treatment in modern medicine as yet " This leads the sufferer to go to this type of people. On the other end too much of advertisement on reduction in prizes of Antiretroviral and high claims of its effectiveness frustate people when the reality is known. 90% of the HIV patients can not afford it, even at 3300 Rs./month (which I belive is the lowest). In recent week I have noticed the " syndrome of helplessness " in many patients, as they learnt that the prizes have fallen and yet they can not afford it. " This also leads some of the PLWH to fall in trap of quakes. Still there is lots of hope to crub Majid's phenomena. Guest guest
Dear Forum members, There is an existing Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against Mr. Majid. I think the 'Lawyers Collective HIV/AIDS Unit Mumbai' has initiated the PIL. The e-mail id of Lawyers Collective is aidslaw@.... Their contact person is Mr. Vivek Divan. You may write to him for greater details and prospect avenues of further co-operation. IFSHA C 52, Second Floor South Extension Part 2 New Delhi, India Ph/Fax: 91-11-625-3289/98 Email: ifsha@...
