Guest guest
I'm heading back to NIH for my second visit as part of the CLL Natural History Study. I've signed up for a BMB and apheresis, where they will re-cycle some blood, extracting lymphocytes or whatever it is they wish to study. My platelets aren't great ..(116k 2+ months ago), so I'm a bit nervous as I believe this will introduce some thinner. I'm assuming they won't do it if there is any risk. However, would love to hear if anyone has had this done and has any suggestions, comments etc. I have a full day scheduled there .. labs, then bmb then apheresis. Thanks Lynn (Sorry if you see this post as will on the acor listserv .. want to get to the biggest audience for responses.)
