Hi to all of you,

I haven't posted in a long while but still read your posts. My husband has

been out of remission a little over a year with a white count of 18,000. Not bad

but I suspect the disease is much more unpredictable the second time around. Am

I right? had a successful stem cell transplant in 1999 which give him 6

yrs of good remission.

Currently he had gamma globulin infusion to help him fight bronchitus. The 2

rounds of antibiotics didn't quite do it. His neuts are low and stil decreasing

but not dangerously so.Any way he became very ill from the gamma globulin and

needed three days of hospitalization. We were surprised since he had two other

gamma globulin treatments without any side effects. His biggest complaint is

still fatigue but he is still able to work and do most but not all that he used

to. I really would appreciate hearing from anyone and everyone with experience

or info on life out of remission. He doesn't need chemo at this stage.

Thanks to all of you

yrs.
