Guest guest
Hello Friends - I just want to give you a final reminder about the teleconference by Dr. Keating in three weeks. It is not too late to submit some good questions. _________________________________________________________________________________________ Here are the details for this amazing event, as promised by the CLL Information Group (CIG): Date: April 2 Time: 6:30pm Central, 7:30pm Eastern, 5:30pm Mountain, 4:30pm Pacific, 12:30am UK, 1:30am Europe, Australia - you have to figure it out for yourselves :-) 5-10 minutes before the time, please dial 1-877-746-4263. You will be asked for a password. The password is 02 94 154# (make sure to hit #). Tie lines from Canada are +1 (866) 667-8813; from the UK 0800 279 8160; from Australia 1 800 630 164. From anywhere else please dial +44 20 7019 0492 in the UK. There may be a cost involved. (I can get tie lines for some other countries, if there is interest.) Once you have been placed on the group you will hear nothing (music) until Dr. Keating and I come on at the time, as above. Your phones will be muted during Dr. Keating's presentation, that is, you will hear him, but we will not hear lots of people coughing or washing dishes. I have asked you to send me questions. Now is the time to start thinking about these seriously. I have already received some. I will arrange them in a logical sequence, eliminate duplications, etc. You can send the questions to my e-mail directly, or post them to the discussion group so that others can see beforehand what is being asked. Taking questions from the "floor" will be difficult, although, if we have time, not impossible. When we come to the Q & A, either I will un-mute the questioner's phone (if you send me your phone number with the question), or I will ask you, by name, to un-mute yourself. The latter will be easier for me. You can do this by pressing ##1 on your phone. Dr. Keating will then be able to hear you, as will the others. At the end of your question/discussion, please re-mute yourself by pressing ##1 a second time, so that others have a chance. Dr. Keating has not told me how long he is willing to continue, but he is usually generous with his time when it comes to patients. Any questions re the teleconference, please let me know now. I am trying to get the teleconference recorded for later access, but I would urge you to participate personally if you can. We will be using a new company called Ring2 for the teleconference. You can find out about them on www.ring2.com All this information is also be posted soon on our CIG website, www.cllinfogroup.org Looking forward to a great and unique teleconference.
