Guest guest
Thanks for the replies to the Arzerra (O) side effect question. No, I'm not on statins or any other drugs. This is it except for acyclovir as a prophylactic. I have heard from a couple of people who had neuropathy seemingly connected with Arzerra infusions. I am also extremely fatigued, can't even find a name for how bad it is. I know there were a couple of other people who posted earlier in the year about their Arzerra side effects being extreme fatigue and I would love to hear from you if possible. I'm going to a neurologist as soon as I can and try to get an opinion from CLL experts because it seems PN is a side effect of Rituxan which is so related to Arzerra. Thanks, Carol " I'm taking Arzerra (ofatumumab)and have 3 more infusions to go of the 12 scheduled. I, too, am having tingling in my fingers and on rare occasions in my lips. It's more nuisance than problem so I pretty much ignore it although my hands are very sensitive to warm water. I'm sure it's neuropathy from the single agent immunotherapy I'm taking. My hope is that it will subside once treatment is completed. More important, the Arzerra has wiped out the severe fatigue I'd been experiencing and I have my life back. On the down side, while I was doing weekly infusions the A was shrinking all my lymph nodes including the big one under my arm. When I switched to monthly infusions the nodes started building up again and the big one is even bigger. Because of this Dr Furman claims I'm refractory to A even though I'm still in treatment; I can only hope the fatigue doesn't reappear. Guest paull
Hi, I am currently receiving single-agent Arzerra and have begun to notice about 6 weeks into the weekly treatments that my fingers tingle and sometimes my lips. It does feel like neuropathy, like others have stated. Has the neuropathy cleared up for you? How long does it last?
