We thought a low grade temp was normal for Rebekah until a few days after

her first IVIG. She was TEMP FREE. I don't think that I 've ever felt her

when she didn't feel a bit warm.

Re: !!!!

Amen- we don;t want to go anywhere near the hospital or doctor unless his

temp or ph's temp spikes. I had them wear masks when we went on

Wednesday-- in the ER Sun night they had ph wear a mask when he'd leave

the isolation room ( to go get x-rays, etc)

never gets these low-grade temps-- just the two other guys. It

has to be part of their illness. Drives me nuts... SOmetimes I wonder if it

is just normal for them to get these temps... does that make sense?

RE: !!!!

12 weeks straight of sickness qualifies you for sainthood! I read it in

the

" mother's manual " . Rebekah's low grade temps have returned. She has

been

between 99.5 and 100.5 for the last three days. This is the original

reason

we so concerned about her. I don't know what the fevers mean, but,

given

how sick with respiratory stuff everyone in town is, I'm not taking her

in

unless her fever spikes.

We haven't had life-threatening illnesses either, but Rebekah was not

thriving. She was acting more like an 18 month old than a 28 month old

child. I'm scared to read about the complications and risks of IVIG,

Re: !!!!

AAAHHHH THAT would explain why gets more fevers than ph-- he is

the one that has SDS AND CVID... ph just has SDS and doesn;t get as many

unexplained fevers... very interesting.

Our ped wants us to talk to the HEM again about the IVIG.... I just

don't know.. he hasn't had life threatening illnesses... and the risks, etc.

Please keep us posted on the news!!!! Or a diagnosis. Thinking of you. It is

always stressful waiting for the doctor to call.

We've had a relaxing day here... 's temp is up to 100 now. UGH.. We palyed

games, builtr forts, read books, did arts and crafts, and watched Star Wars a

million times. LOL

is out of town and I am about to go STIR CRAZY. I got out with

last night and brought him to the book store to use the gift card he got for his

B-day. We are now in week 12 of illness for his brothers adn I am going

INSANE.

I can;t wait until spring-- I pray it brings a week or two of health. Int he

last 3 years we have not had much health at all-- our record has been 3 weeks

ONCE... mostly we go one week and then the sickness starts up again... sometimes

its just days.

Sorry for complaining. I'm just suffering from Cabin fever!

sick

Pam - I wanted to remind you to please cut the previous post that you are

will bog up the digest emails that some subscribers receive, plus it adds to

the email byte size and makes it longer to download email. Some subscribers

pay by the minute and added byte size delays the download time.

Thank you.
